Advanced technology allows the production of high-quality Laying porcelain Stoneware that are robust, modular, easy to use, and low-maintenance. Splendidly beautiful natural colors, shapes, and textures in LAVISH’S resistant & durable PORCELAIN WALL AND FLOOR TILES can now be obtained easily, thanks to its one-of-a-kind combination of carefully selected raw materials and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
Some of the most popular finishes today include STONE-LOOK PORCELAIN TILES, MARBLE-LOOK PORCELAIN TILES, CONCRETE-LOOK PORCELAIN TILES, METAL-LOOK PORCELAIN TILES, and WOOD-LOOK PORCELAIN TILES. Also, LAVISH’S PORCELAIN TILES are available in a wide selection of colors & patterns to complement other materials, and are ideal for both indoor and outdoor use in public and private settings.
However, apart from quality, one should pay equal attention to proper installation method, keeping in mind the various factors associated with installation, to gain the desired end result. But worry not! PORCELAIN TILES’ versatile nature allows different laying patterns and designs which makes these tiles famous among the masses.
So, without further ado, let’s dive straight into DIFFERENT INSTALLATION METHODS FOR PORCELAIN TILES!
Screed is usually applied on top of the concrete slab and is most commonly used as a finishing layer on floors before the installation of tiles. Its main purpose is to offer stress resistance from both the flooring itself and the distribution of loads on that floor.
Generally, there are two types of screeds for laying Laying porcelain Stoneware. The first is the standard screed and the second is the heating screed. The only difference between the two is that the heating screed includes floor heating or a cooling system underneath. The modern method of placing PORCELAIN TILES is divided into two stages. In the first phase, the screed is formed from sand and cement and then spread out in a smooth, flat layer. The following phase includes gluing the tiles in place, which can only happen around a month after the first phase.
This method allows the laying of low thickness tiles (4.9mm), directly on the existing floor without any alteration.
The unique tile interlocking system derived from LAVISH’S groundbreaking technology is a revolutionary product in its niche. These tiles ensures the same technical performance, features, and design of conventional PORCELAIN TILE with a more seamless and realistic effect.
Due to a simple locking system, each ceramic tile is connected to a support and a specific border with an excellent gripping mechanism. This nature of the system creates a finished floor that can be used straight away.
The quick and easy installation of this flooring system allows every “do-it-yourselfer” to achieve professional-like results in the end. The stable and durable nature of this tile makes it the best choice for shops, showrooms, exhibition grounds, and heritage landmarks as well as museum facilities.
If you live in a place where systems such as electrical wirings, pipes, or plumbing need to be inspected occasionally, the RAISED INSTALLATION is the right solution.
This is purely “dry-laying,” as no grout or adhesive needs to be filled, and the final floor can be used immediately post the installation process.
Raised flooring speeds up maintenance processes by allowing the assembly and disassembly of the elements without the use of grout or glue, and also the ability to work on an individual panel without interfering with neighboring panels. This reduces the costs and time associated with such cases.
Floor covering in Exterior Areas requires materials of high strength, resistance, and durability due to the harsh nature of these areas. PORCELAIN TILES, being a supreme material with high technical performance and aesthetics is the best answer to harsh outsides. Hence, external floors, such as terraces and walkways of gardens, beaches, malls, and parking places must be made of PORCELAIN TILES. Apart from its load-bearing capacity, and resistance to impact, PORCELAIN TILES can also tolerate extreme temperatures(both low and high), daily wear and tear, and exposure to sunlight.
Tiles, without the use of screed, cement, or glue can be dry laid directly on grass, gravel, or sand to create a quick flooring area that can be laid open to walked on immediately.
The process of laying PORCELAIN TILES on screed with adhesive for outdoor spaces follows the same principles as it does for interior spaces. Thanks to the notably thick structure of the Laying porcelain Stoneware, they are an ideal option for this type of installation. Adhesives are to be compulsorily used and the grouts must be filled with cement-based adhesive too! This method is the best solution for driveways, car parks, garage ramps, swimming pool surrounds.
Raised floorings placed on supports are typically made of polypropylene which comes in a variety of sizes (both fixed and adjustable). This allows you to create raised floorings for an outdoor space with a compartment underneath for electrical cables and water lines.
Fixed supports come in three heights: 14 mm, 25 mm, and 35 mm, and are the conventional & affordable option for raised flooring. If your setting necessitates a floor that can be readily removed and inspected, this is the best option. To remove any irregularity, a leveling device can be used to ensure total stability in the whole flooring.
These are available in a variety of heights that range from 35 mm to 100 mm, and ensure a quick adjustment in the final floor, thanks to a no-glue, no-grout dry laying technique. They’re also great for leveling out uneven terrain. If the installation ground is uneven, we recommend using slope correctors to enhance stability and increased load resistance by ensuring the ground is perpendicular to the tiles.
However, in any case of installation, it is important to check the subsoil condition and ensure compliance with engineering regulation of structural load, seismography, and external influences.
Also, installing a raised floor more than 100 mm off the ground is not recommended unless sufficient precautions are taken.
