INSTALLATION FOR INTERIORS:

TILE INSTALLATION ON SCREED WITH ADHESIVE

Screed is usually applied on top of the concrete slab and is most commonly used as a finishing layer on floors before the installation of tiles. Its main purpose is to offer stress resistance from both the flooring itself and the distribution of loads on that floor.

Generally, there are two types of screeds for laying Laying porcelain Stoneware. The first is the standard screed and the second is the heating screed. The only difference between the two is that the heating screed includes floor heating or a cooling system underneath. The modern method of placing PORCELAIN TILES is divided into two stages. In the first phase, the screed is formed from sand and cement and then spread out in a smooth, flat layer. The following phase includes gluing the tiles in place, which can only happen around a month after the first phase.

This method allows the laying of low thickness tiles (4.9mm), directly on the existing floor without any alteration.

 INTERLOCKING TILE INSTALLATION

Raised flooring speeds up maintenance processes by allowing the assembly and disassembly of the elements without the use of grout or glue, and also the ability to work on an individual panel without interfering with neighboring panels. This reduces the costs and time associated with such cases.

EXTERIOR INSTALLATION OF PORCELAIN TILES

Floor covering in Exterior Areas requires materials of high strength, resistance, and durability due to the harsh nature of these areas. Installation on existing surfaces

Tiles, without the use of screed, cement, or glue can be dry laid directly on grass, gravel, or sand to create a quick flooring area that can be laid open to walked on immediately.

OUTDOOR INSTALLATION ON SCREED WITH ADHESIVE

The process of laying PORCELAIN TILES on screed with adhesive for outdoor spaces follows the same principles as it does for interior spaces. Thanks to the notably thick structure of the Laying porcelain Stoneware, they are an ideal option for this type of installation. Adhesives are to be compulsorily used and the grouts must be filled with cement-based adhesive too! This method is the best solution for driveways, car parks, garage ramps, swimming pool surrounds.

RAISED INSTALLATION

Raised floorings placed on supports are typically made of polypropylene which comes in a variety of sizes (both fixed and adjustable). This allows you to create raised floorings for an outdoor space with a compartment underneath for electrical cables and water lines.

FIXED SUPPORTS

Fixed supports come in three heights: 14 mm, 25 mm, and 35 mm, and are the conventional & affordable option for raised flooring. If your setting necessitates a floor that can be readily removed and inspected, this is the best option. To remove any irregularity, a leveling device can be used to ensure total stability in the whole flooring.

ADJUSTABLE SUPPORTS

These are available in a variety of heights that range from 35 mm to 100 mm, and ensure a quick adjustment in the final floor, thanks to a no-glue, no-grout dry laying technique. They’re also great for leveling out uneven terrain. If the installation ground is uneven, we recommend using slope correctors to enhance stability and increased load resistance by ensuring the ground is perpendicular to the tiles.

However, in any case of installation, it is important to check the subsoil condition and ensure compliance with engineering regulation of structural load, seismography, and external influences.

Also, installing a raised floor more than 100 mm off the ground is not recommended unless sufficient precautions are taken.
